The Summit Forum and Dialogues for Museum Curators of the 10th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo were held in Chenzhou on July 8. It aimed to discuss the innovative development of museums in the new era and promote the integrated development of mineral and gem research, paleontology research, cultural tourism and science popularization.
At the forum, the curators of participating museums made speeches around multiple themes like “Outlook for Science Popularization of Natural-type Museums and Innovative Development of Museums” and “Inheritance and Protection of Museum Fossil Heritage”. This opened new windows not only for science popularization of mineral crystals but also for science popularization and education of paleontology.
